Honeycomb activated carbon is made of high-quality coal-based activated carbon as raw material, which is pressed by a honeycomb mold and fired at high temperature for activation.
Honeycomb activated carbon can be widely used in various gas purification equipment and waste gas treatment projects. Practice has proved that the purification effect is better than ordinary ones. The pollutants that can be removed to varying degrees by honeycomb activated carbon include: nitrogen oxide, carbon tetrachloride, chlorine, benzene, diformaldehyde, acetone, ethanol, ether, methanol, acetic acid, ethyl ester, styrene, phosgene, odorous gases and other acidic and alkaline gases.
Honeycomb activated carbon can be used directly or placed in a purification cabinet or adsorption bed. If the exhaust gas concentration is high and the emission volume is large, two purification cabinets and adsorption beds can be used in rotation. During use, try to avoid excessive temperature, which will reduce the adsorption capacity, and the adsorption capacity will decrease with the increase of temperature; at the same time, avoid high dust content and oil mist, because tar dust mist will block the micropores of activated carbon, increase resistance, and reduce the adsorption effect. If the use environment contains a lot of dense dust and tar, a pre-stage dust removal filter should be installed to achieve the best use effect and the longest service life.
